Michael Lapp | Woodville, NY | Automatic | My wife just purchased this car for me on August 31st, 2007 for my 40th birthday . I think I will keep her around for a while,(my wife and the car) ! I have wanted to own a corvette since before I learned to drive , and now I finally do !! I don't know any of the history about this car , but I know that it is NOT a show car . It has 93,000 miles on it and is in pretty good condition except for some cosmetic things . It needs some new weatherstrips , and I am looking for some of the white center caps for the wheels , and having no luck I might add . It needs a new white steering wheel , a new radio (probably an aftermarket one), and a few personal touches like maybe a wooden dash . But, besides that I am really happy that the one she picked out happened to be the anniversary edition . I guess I am going to have fun being busy while I am tinkering with things over the winter (which in northern NY is about 9 months) !
Carl and Shawna Smith | Baton Rouge, LA United States | Automatic | Car was purchased new by my dad from Gerry Lane Chevrolet in Baton Rouge, LA. Passed down to me when he passed away. He really enjoyed this car to a tune of 180,000 miles, but the car is in excellent condition. I'll be doing quite a bit of maintenance as it has been in the garage under a car cover for about a year without running, but I plan to get it back to the good ol' days. He added ground effects not long after purchase. Beautiful car - plan to keep 4-ever.
Bob McConnell | Tampa, FL USA | Automatic | Purchased in March 2007 from collector in Ocala FL. Unknown number of owners. 48,000 original miles and in very good condition although not mint. Aftermarket exhaust installed by some previous owner, sounds great but not sure who makes it. I'm missing a few anniversary interior trim pieces but am enjoying tinkering with my first corvette on all the odds and ends needing attention.
Leonard Wiggins | Searcy, AR USA | Automatic | RPO B2K (Callaway Option), current mileage 4,200, I purchased the car new from Purifoy Chevrolet in Ft Lupton, Colorado in April of 88. I am the most proud of it beeing featured in Chips Choice at Corvettes of Carlisle. It has also been featured at Vettes on the Rockies, Black Hills Corvette Rally, Mid America Funfest, Homecoming in Bowling Green, NCRS Winter meet in Orlando, FL, Bloomington Gold Certified and Special Collection participant as well as the first C-4 Corvette inducted to the BG Hall of Fame

296![]() | Mike Diaferio | Sarasota, Fl USA | Automatic | I purchased mine from a friend that was the original owner. The car was purchased in New Jersey and brought down to Florida when he relocated. It is one of the 200 produced with the 4+3 transmission. I have several under skin mods made to enhance the horsepower finishing it off with a Borla exhaust system that gives it a nice sound. All the OEM equipment has been kept. The car has 44,150K and runs great. It now is used for shows and pleasure driving since purchasing a '03 Z06 for a daily driver. |
Debbie Greene | Lynn, MA 01902 | Automatic | I bought this car from a friend who rescued it from the car auction. There was one owner before me who purchased the car new and traded it in during 2006. It has 70,000 miles and is in good shape. I purchased new wheels, tires and exhaust but the car runs great. I would like to do the leather next but hope that I can find the replacement 35th anniversary seats. This is my first Corvette and I am having a blast with it!
Jeff & Chou Campbell | Fairview Heights, IL | Automatic | Purchased from a friend in Oct. 2005 with 103,000 miles and needing a lot of work. In the process of replacing the entire interior, Dynamat sound barrier, new weatherstrip, have all new emblems (2 complete sets), all new switches, knobs, etc...Pretty much "gutting" everything before pulling engine and trans. for complete rebuild.
Earl | Bowie, MD | Automatic | I just got this car and love it. I have had two second generation Camaros, and one second generation Firebird. I finally got the car I have wanted since the 70s. I will keep this car long into retirement. It has 36,840 miles on it as of May 10, 2008. Does anyone know where to get replacement seat covers with 35th logo?

Steve Wofford | Early , TX | (MM4) 4+3 Manual | I bought my vette in august 2001 from a local salvage lot. It had light damage under the car on the cross member. It has a clean title and 56,000 miles. I believe I am the 3rd owner. I feel like I built this car. Since buying it have replace the cross member, rebuilt the 4+3, new paint, new seat covers, new flo-master exhaust, new stereo, and a dozen or so small parts. I have one of the original build sheets (i found in a hole in the cross member) and 12 service records (dated up to 1996 36k miles) from the original owner from houston. It is for sure not a show winner, but pretty close to factory.

I bought it with 1,965 miles on it last year from a guy in New Hampshire who only drove it once. It now has 2,235 miles on it. |
Bob Barnett | Winston Salem, NC USA | Automatic |
Anthony Psomas | Manalapan, NJ USA | Automatic | Bought the car in Sept 2001 with @ 20k miles on it. Now has @33k miles. All original and I love the car!! This is the most visually striking C4 ever built with its white on white color combo! I also have a 71 BB coupe. Although it doesnt matter to me I feel that these cars are still grossly underpriced and another 10 years or so from now these will be some serious collector cars of the C4 generation! My car was originally sold at Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe Arizona. One of the owners I was told was one of the cast members of WKRP in Cincinnati. The car was in AZ first went to Ca then to the middle of the country and I found it in Gaithersburg Md. These cars were so advanced for its time!
Cliff Clyde | Fairfield, ME USA | (MM4) 4+3 Manual | Just purchased this very special edition which has the 4 plus three transmission I would like to know how many were produced. Nice web site!!
